Material selection is of paramount importance when installing new equipment. In order to ensure that the correct material is selected, the following information should be given to our Technical Sales Engineers at the Enquiry stage:-

The Service i.e. The liquid or gas being filtered;
The Design Temperature of the service;
The Design Pressure of the service.

Weld Clad Strainers & Weld Clad Filters
We are able to design, manufacture and supply units with more cost effective base materials such as carbon steel which can have weld clad overlay inside the housing using a corrosion resistant alloy (CRA). This provides an economical solution to many processes where a corrosion resistant alloy is required to handle an aggressive process fluid. Typical CRA weld overlay materials available are Inconel 625, Duplex Stainless Steel, Inconel 825, Super Duplex Stainless Steel and Hastelloy. Normal thickness of the CRA overlay is 3mm, but other thicknesses to client specification are available upon request. For more information contact our Technical Sales Department.
